granted she said he'd be shipped on monday and then she did it on friday.. but whatever, I'm just happy to be getting him!

Uh.....NATION-WIDE BLIZZARD, HELLO!

Says the person who JUST got out of the driveway, and only by working at it for 4 solid hours.

I managed to ship out the doll I was selling ;)

But yeah... snow = pain in the ass

Depending on the part of the country you were in, it would have been illegal to be on the roads and you could have been arrested for it. Assuming you didn't end up in something like this:

There were at least four states (Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois) that were under federal State of Emergency. That means no one on the road who does not have a vital-to-life job.

I'm glad you were able to ship out your doll, but it's quite possible your seller not only was not able to get out, she may not have had internet or power either.

That would be because it is (or was) South Lake Shore drive. One of the busiest streets in the heart of one of the busiest cities in the country. And it ended up like that. People stuck in their cars for 12 hours and finally evacuated on snowmobiles.

So....doll not getting shipped out....understandable.

I know that its understandable, I'm all about safety first. My first crash was because of the snow (ice) so I don't blame her at all. But she didn't even use the snow as her excuse. But it totally doesn't matter. She was still a good seller, and I'm probably getting him today! Woo~

Yay! My boyfriend ordered our very first 60cm obitsu girls last night! We have to wait a few weeks for one of them since junkyspot didn't have both bodies, but still, woohoo :D And he even said he'd replace the bust part for us on one doll.

I finally got a Lagoona for a good price! And thought of a name for her too finally! Coraline, tho I'm pronouncing it Coral-line, so it's still ocean themed. :D

A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

Monsters are everywhere, now that I don't want any more.

Why didn't someone tell me about SACD before? The Deluxe version of Tommy by The Who renders all previous versions as coasters. Those who know will know how flat it sounds. Not any more. You kids with your digital need to find an old audio cassette of your favorite song and copy it a few times on the cheapest tapes you can find, taping over other things if need be to understand the difference.

Now I'm really John Paul Jonseing for surround sound.

Cal's head is in the mail! Woohoo! I can't wait for him to get here. And as a bonus, Syfy ran a Doctor Who marathon today, and my mom (hopefully) got it taped.
