Arrg! I answered one of those email Paypal scams. So now I had to cancel my credit card and change my password. This is what you get answering email during your lunch period. I'm usually very careful about these things.

I was talking to my mom about scouting for a female 1/3 and she goes "You still have Eden, do you really need another one?" But it's my money ( the money I earn from taking crap from customers and managers day after day to spend on dolls. It's not like I use all of it anyways >.<. I can't ,more like won't, save up money to buy a plane ticket to at least visit back home because they won't even allow me to go on my own. So I might as well spend it on something I'd enjoy than save up for something I can never get..

Had churgery to have my wisdom teeth taken out (dentist didn't want to try at first and when he did I had read about the fact that if he did it I had to pay for it myself while if it would be taken out in hospital my insurance would pay for it ). Its hurting like hell at the moment. Got prescription painkillers but they don't actually kill anything. And on top of all that I seem to have landed in that time of the month again so if I wasn't feeling bad (and icy cold!) already, I am now.

I quit talking to people about what I spend my money on cause of these kinds of responses. Non-doll people will never understand. Especially parental types. I just spend my money on what I want and keep it to myself and everyone here on this awesome forum cause we understand.

Which is why I'm so glad I found this forum, else I would probably keep the whole hobby to myself. True, I don't think she even knows I already bought the doll and transferred my payment to her account. At least my fiancee understands. He's even willing to characterize and name my next doll, so it's like I bought her for him XD

My smother would have a sh*t fit to know what I spend on some of my things so it's none of her business. I find those who complain the most about how you spend your money can't manage their own.

If you work for your money and are meeting your financial obligations (rent, etc.) it's nobody's business what you do with the rest of it. There has to be something to enjoy and look forward to.
And, Lif, I just had two extractions myself a few weeks ago. Warm salt water rinses are very soothing. If you aren't better in a few days, call the dentist. I developed dry socket (blood clot doesn't form so the bone cavity is open and the nerves are exposed), and it is terrible. They will have to pack it if that happens. Feel better soon, sweet girl.

I agree with what everyone said about it being your money. My mom bought a few of my dolls (Haruka, Frankie/Electra Spectra Ghoulia and Kaname) for me but I had to work my butt off to earn them (STILL paying her back for Kaname.) and I after that had to use my own money gotten from birthdays and Christmas if I wanna get more dolls. She likes them just fine...I just think she'd blow a gasket if I bought a 1/4 or 1/3 doll.

(Oh little does she know that eventually I am gonna wind up at that scale...I already made up my mind I want an Obitsu of each size...So far I got just about every 1/6th size from 28cm slim male all the way down to the dog....I hate the 25cm's knee's so no loss there so onto the bigger size. XD;; Obitsu's pose so well I can't help myself.)

At least my parents aren't totally against the hobby, they even bought me Eden's kitchen set for Christmas but that's me requesting the gift :> Well, even the inexpensive larger scales for her are expensive. Everything for her is expensive even stuff we look at at $2 stores That's why as long as I can pay for the dolls, pay rent and save up some, I'll still buy or save up for dolls

XD Yeah some stuff can be hard to find in 1/6th scale. I try to make whatever it is I want if I can't find it for cheap. Dollar stores are surprisingly good with pre-made clothing sets sans shoes.

That's my goal too. Basically if I got the money and I like it enough I'll get it. XD I didn't even let my mom see what Hakubi would look like until I got him. She had no idea he was even in the cart.
