Gave my new guy a nice scrub with a magic eraser and got out old sueding.
He is so smooth and soft now and I feel like we are getting to know eachother.
Found out why his hand doesn't move= incorrect hook in wrist.
I have never used that sponge before, wow it's amazing!

Last week was spent crafting- I crocheted a hat and scarf, made a sleeping bag, pillow and blanket, a snowflake tabe and pllar and am working on a ballgown-for the Snowflake ball swap that I am in on the RC. I also started new linens for Myris canopy bed. I pillowtopped her mattress and made the canopy and bottom sheet yesterday.

update. with the power of my dremel thingy I have sanded away all the resin that offended me! AHAHAAA!!! Take that resin that doesn't fit Soom knees!

I've since blobbed a bunch of Apoxie on the thigh and created new knee joints. They're not perfect but that can be sanded down and/or re-apoxied as needed. I'm going to let them cure overnight and tomorrow afternoon I'll start sanding the apoxie with hopes that it worked well enough.

Right now I'm working on the "holiday" outfits for my two elves, which I'm trying to get done for the Holiday Doll Tea that I'm having with my friends this coming weekend. I wanted to make something with a medieval feel to it, and I had an absolute blast working on Little Ari's outfit which is all velvet and satin and I call "Queen of the Winter Forest" (complete with a "mantle of white", pics coming soon!)

I finished her outfit, and now I'm working on Gilan's which I see in my mind's eye as a "Warden of the Winter Wood". I want to do some leather work to suggest armor and use some fur to make him more rustic... but every time I get out my supplies for his outfit, I get through about ten minutes of it and then lose interest. Usually I can sit for hours figuring out how to piece things together, but I get to the point where I have the thing taped onto him and I'm measuring, and then I'm like "meh" and put it aside and walk away. *shrug* Hopefully I'll regain my resolve before the weekend! ^.^*

At Home: Little Ari (Resinsoul Mei), Gilan (Resinsoul Song), Mina (Jun Planning Ai Cosmos), Yukiko (5StarDoll Tong Tong), Julia (Hujoo Yumi), Lion'a (Hujoo Suve), Ella (Jun Planning Hestia Isora), Mint (Fairland Pukifee PongPong, "unnamed thus far" (Hujoo Nano Freya)
Wish List: Delf Ani, Resinsoul Yun/5StarDoll Angelo (f.), Island Doll Emily, BJD Hamster pet

Working some air dry heads in one of the Fimo air dry clays. Kind of test runs or optional expressions for the full bodied peoples I plan to make once I have steady joints worked out on Pancake. I've got to make myself loosen up a bit about using the head bases, I need to remember they've sat around for years and it's not like I can't make more, and it doesn't hurt if there are several "Alistairs" floating around.

Writing on some fan fiction and original stuff too just to keep the writing juices flowing, but I'm not in that NaNo contest, writing deadlines and I don't like each other much.

Oh, squuueee, Richila. These are darling. So tiny. What size hook did you use? Is it visible to the naked eye?
Maybe you should open an Etsy shop.

It reminds me to think about the interchangeable steel hook kit for about a minute. ~sticks to her 00 size~

Meh, I'm starting to care about my website again. Did a new menu which would mean changing all the pages any way. Still a long boring tedious process.
