Had to look up the Adonis doll, it splains why that Lance Bass ken and perhaps even the Tate have that face, altho I can't say which came first.

:laughs: That is the big question, isn't it? I have 6 in my possession (Pluto, Maker, Uranus, Star Fighter, Neptune and Saturn) and of the 6, I ADORE Maker's---sooo attractive and droolworthy, it's really enticing--very masculine scent, too. I love to spray it on my Maker plushies and dolls! :D :laughs:

Then I really love Neptune and Saturn's scents next---they are very feminine and soft/gentle but really beautifully delicate! I like them in that order. Fighter is also nice but not sure what it smells like exactly! Citrusy/lime, gardenias, musk, and strawberries, mostly? It's a nice smell, too. Not either masculine nor feminine but somewhere in between? My sister loves it Uranus is very sharp and pungent---I guess the 'ozone' quality to it? It ALMOST hurts your nose at first but then it calms down into a very pretty and outdoor scent, too.

Unfortunately, I am not that fond yet of Pluto's perfume! :faint: I thought it'd be sooo perfect from the description and it's not that it's not a nice smell, but....it's really strong and very powdery, woodsy---not bad at all, but it definitely needs getting accustomed to! I'm trying to 'smell' all the different notes, as well as time goes on while wearing it but it's the most difficult to decipher. It mostly smells the same all the way through to me so far. I'll need to try it again. I didn't 'fall in love' with it at first scent like I did with Maker's! :laughs: But my sister says it really suits me, so.... :shrugs: These are really 'high end' designer perfumes so they have the 'top/mid/last' notes of quality fragrances and I can sense that (the tops/mids/lasting notes) for sure in Maker, Fighter and Uranus. I haven't sprayed Neptune nor Saturn but just opened the lid to see what it was so I can't say about theirs but I did LOVE what they smelled like just from a sniff without spraying!

Pluto.....I sprayed it on me when I got it, and it seemed to 'stay the same' the whole time. Maybe I was just a bit shocked at the scent--not *quite* what I was expecting/hoping and I need to try her again to get the full scope and appreciation of it. :P I guess I was hoping for something a little more....soft and mysterious. :laughs: On a plus note, it does smell like a perfume I had back in the 1990s when I was a teen and my sis DOES say it suits me so.....it just has to grow on me, I guess! :laughs: Either way, I'm just really thrilled to have it in my collection!

My sister is the same way! She is very sensitive to smells and can't even walk down the laundry/soap aisles in the supermarkets! So I am not 'permitted' to use perfume except on special occasions when she just tries to grin and bear it! :laughs:

I have to make a wide berth (or sprint) around fragrance counters and any candle or makeup/perfume stores at the mall. I can literally have an asthmatic like reaction. As much as 11% of people (mostly women) have contact and/or respiratory reactions. I used to be a cosmetician... I do miss fragrances. I can often tolerate essential oils (like in the goat milk soaps I use).

I am both very sensitive to and fond of scents. I often smell like peppermint oil because it doesn't hurt me and it's soothing due to being my migraine fixer.

But yesterday I bought a little wax brick made by a scent sensitive lady. The kitchen here is going to faintly smell like baked pear.

Got my hands on a new Integrity body and another Adonis doll, both of which are going to be customized. They're my reward for not committing multiple felonies the last two weeks as everything at work went to hell.

These days I never know what I'm going to be sensitive to but if I can eat/drink it I can usually stand the smell of it. If you ever get the chance visit a blooming orange grove for real orange blossom fragrance. The soap and lotion making scents at the craft store are an inexpensive way to try scents and combinations.

Latest buys include a crochet fidget worm with a marble in his head, and a Yip Yip monster that I bought for a friend. Oh, and a little silver 3D printed alien for my dental hygienist to add to her family of little guys (she has her doll collection on a shelf in her cubical where she works).

Got a Poliwhirl figure and Tinkatink plush. GameStop currently has a "buy one get one 50% off" deal for all Nintendo stuff, so...
