That's awesome! I'm sure you'll do wonderful things with her, Evelien.

I placed my Miro Doll order this morning! :D

Congrats!! :D I'm still unsure what to do... I need a body for the Annette head but I'm not sure if the Miro body is right for me.

Another rejoice: because I'm looking for a body for the Annette head that's on its way, another Dutch BJD owner let me borrow her SD girl for a few days, because I was interested in her particular body, and to get used to SD size. She was travelling through my city so we met up at the train station and she trusted me with one of her most beloved dolls. I'm returning her tomorrow. Considering I have only met her once so far, and we spoke very briefly, I think it's awesome that she would trust me with her girl :o

The body the doll has is awesome. One almost like it is on the DoA marketplace right now. Oh, the dilemmas... which body to go for..?

OOooh, congrats, Evelien!

Today was my birthday, and I was given a 5StarDoll Mia as a present. She's absolutely adorable, and she looks amazing in a wig I got last year for Christmas that I've never been able to find the proper doll for it. It's technically too big for her but nothing a little tweaking can't fix!

I wasn't happy with a certain, unnamed box store sales clerk but I did finally order a new camera. Now I can take photos of my dolls that don't turn out grainy. If I wanted grain, I'd use more film. lol! Since I am dealing with certain health issues and can't use my darkroom (sudden onset of reactive asthma due to a case of severe bronchitis from October last year) and my much beloved Sony quit focusing completely, I thought it was time to get a new digital.

Yay for a new Fuji Finepix! I should have it today after I get home from work. I'll just have to remember to buy some AA batteries.

I wasn't sure if I should put this in this thread of Udder Randomness, but yeah ... I started a blog. It's no big deal or anything, just going to be the random musings of a middle-aged lady trying to get her life back. If anyone is interested, here's the url: http://fromthesideoftheroad.wordpress.com/. Don't expect anything fantastical, though, okay?

Good for you, Kirahfaye. I've wanted to start a blog for a while, but I haven't done it yet. I signed up to follow yours, but I don't see a tab for comments., so I'll just say here that I'm looking forward to walking this road with you.

Thanks! And yeah, the Comments link is tiny and is at the very bottom on the right(ish) side ... You think they would make that a bit easier to find.

10 out of 34 photos from Dru's latest shoot are good enough to upload! Which considering the lighting, time of night and the fact that any photo that doesn't have Dru's face in it turned out blurry, is pretty good.
