Loved that derpy looking little kid. Chelsea just isn't as cute.

Chelsea will never be Kelly, no matter how hard Mattel is trying to push her. The quality just isn't there. Even if they start giving her and her friends all fabric clothes, the playsets just aren't it. I saw the Chelsea lemonade stand on ebay, and seeing it compared to my Kelly lemonade stand is depressing.

Oh, I forgot about this little cutie!

This isn't her original outfit, but she came in this cute cherry dress that I thought was adorable on her, so I let her keep it rather than putting it in the extra clothes bin. She has a face rarely used for this size of doll, a blown up version of baby Nikki's face from the Happy Family line. I think she's absolutely precious, and I definitely need to find her some shoes.

I found her a pair of white sneakers, but I'm looking for a pair of red sandals for her instead.

True dat. And yeah. Everything I look at seems to be going downhill. I'm sitting here looking at most the mini dolls in my collection, and the older ones have real fabric clothes and brushable hair. The new ones have rubber stuff and plastic hair.

Wow, that's really a different face than I'm used to seeing on that body!

I've fallen back down the Kelly rabbit hole, and these are my latest acquisitions. They were all purchased new in box, but I like being able to handle my dolls, so out of the box they came.

It's not healthy for dolls to stay in the box anyway. Is Deidre standing without putty?

I tried linking one of my adopted click pets here, but the board wouldn't let me. :/

I think I had to put a tiny piece under her right foot to keep her stable, but I don't quite remember. I've noticed that Kelly dolls tend to have a slightly shorter right leg than left, which makes getting them to stand up straight a pain in the neck. Some of them I can get to stand, others just fall flat on their cute li'l faces.

Also, update: I found a pair of red sandals for the unnamed cutie in the cherry dress on eBay.

Bought more Rainbow and Shadow High dolls and way too many Sailor Moon and Labyrinth figures. I’ve practically got a shrine dedicated to Labyrinth by this point.

Yay shoes!

Also, I was looking at a little dollar store doll that I have here, and she's got Kelly's hands, if not Kelly's body. Do you think adding something like that to your Kelly flock would make it even more interesting, the way a few fakies fill out a MLP herd?

I actually have a whole bag of fake dollar store knockoff Kelly dolls, but their faces all looked really . . . Adultish. I plan to eventually use them to make gnomes or halfings for some fantasy stuff ime planning.

Hmmmm. I'll have to look at this one's face again. She didn't hit me as looking too grown up, but I may not have looked close enough.
