By the time you get to my age the list of shoes you can wear is countable on one hand.

Preach. Currently live in one pair of slippers and my snow boots. I now have to go thru and try on all my collection and weed out the ones I can't wear anymore. Mostly my beloved boots, sob! (Any 8 1/2 wide peeps here who want to pay for shipping from AK, PM me and we'll talk!) I refuse to give up my plaid waffle stompers tho.

And my Barbie Looks dolls have arrived. Love them both. He looks Native American to me and I would so love to have the time to make him a traditional outfit. Love her outfit and her hairstyle. Original photos showed her curls to be much more structured, but I'm happy they are looser. Color is a bit odd tho. She has magenta and orange mixed together.

Wrong shoe size for me.

It would be neat to see a Native American Looks guy. I'm still on the fence about getting the Not Lance Bass one.

*Took my boots out for a walk yesterday and they did great. No blisters or complaints except how long it takes to get in and out of them, lol. So if you get a chance to get some proper fitting nice shoes do so.

I finally got all my Look dolls too.

My latest...a new computer. Just the computer part. I had a nightmare situation where I had a repair person come in to fix my old computer and ended up calling 911 because he kept fainting! So, I gave up and called Dell and got a new box that came today. No monitor as this one is perfectly good and I'm not giving up my rainbow lighted gaming keyboard. Strangely, it is twice the size of my old one, but not anymore powerful. Are we going backwards? I thought stuff was supposed to get smaller as the tech advanced.

I think it's the switch to SSD drives. I've been using external drives for years now, never hurts to have a back up.

If at all possible see if you can take the hard drive out of the old one. You might be able to use it as an external back up drive and all your stuff is already on there.

On the old computer, the fix-it fainter indicated it was probably the hard drive going bad before he fell over. Of course, under those circumstances, I'm not sure I can trust what he said. He also said he was 'fine.'

Today I got this nifty photo storage box from Joannes half off and I'm already putting my Rainbow High doll clothes in them. I may fill in some with Barbie stuff too.

Got a mini haul from Dollar Tree.



I thought the little Chelsea backpacks were really interesting, though I don't know why she has nail polish as a school supply. The backpacks are hollow inside and JUST flexible enough to put things inside.
