Oh, what a great reference, and you're right, that certainly supports your theory.

My first pair of real leather shoes ever in my life for my birthday. I need good shoes to keep walking away from last year.

If any of y'all with tiny feet lived near me I'm parting with some of my other shoes I can't get into any more :/

As for the Fairy Tale Couples crochet book I'll let you know when I find it. I already scanned it and want the info more than the actual book. If there are any doll books and pamphlets, knit, crochet, clothes and rag patterns, antique, or doll making let me know. I do have to cut down on the amount of analog books I have in general.

I'm looking for a copy of Dolls Studies: The Many Meanings of Girls’ Toys and Play

Dare I ask what US shoe size you wear?

It's for a Monty Python sketch >inserts innocent looking emoji<

I ordered the latest Disney designer doll, Tiana and 2 Barbie Looks dolls, the guy with the long hair and the petite brown girl with red hair. I always discuss the more expensive dolls I want with the DH and had told him that I wasn't sure we could afford Tiana. He came to me last night and pointed out that due to his medical conditions, I had schlepped about 80% of our stuff here to the new house and I certainly deserved to get Tiana and Aurora next month for all my hard work and to take the money out of savings. (Of course, I didn't point out that 80% of our crap is my crap LOL!) He is just a wonderful man.
Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.

These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do... :D

They're dying for their first proper walk. I wore them around the house yesterday to start breaking them in. As someone who has never really had a good fitting pair of outside shoes or a decent let alone good pair that cost doll money you really can tell the difference between nice shoes and ones from Payless.

And if anyone here wears a US 5 1/2 and has the ankles to go with them I have a pair of fancy flat heeled boots that I'll never fit again so DM me. If you're a small 6 you might be able to fit them.

LOL I wish I could fit less expensive shoes. But my feet are too weird. It's the harder to get all the time Vibram Five Fingers for me. And Soft Moc uggs (because UGG brand doesn't fit) in winter.

By the time you get to my age the list of shoes you can wear is countable on one hand.
