On the good side of things guess who's getting a tan Obitsu? And I wonder if one of those photographer's greyscale and color cards would be helpful for people to try and figure out what a doll's real skin tone is in a picture.

Maybe, I'm not sure how easy it would be for your reader's to find one of those? Maybe paintchips would work?

This is what it is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ColorChecker I would have it in my pictures and no matter what my camera or lighting does it would make it easy to adjust to the "real" colors and get a better idea of the doll's actual skin tone. It really hit home when none of the pictures of a reroot showed the actual color.

*wails in agony* There is a sale at Junkyspot for Mystic Kids dooollllssss..... GAH. I'm in the midst of spending all my monies on paint, furniture, and baby stuff. WHY JUNKYSPOT WHY?

So, aside from doll sales, I'm beginning the first phase of moving tomorrow! We're first moving the storage unit. Sweet. Then we're going to clean out the garage. Meanwhile I'm packing the house in phases of least used first, yadda yadda. It's all quite organized. Hopefully I'll get all the big jobs done before I'm too big to carry anything. I'm already starting to waddle.

Ivan is going to be so jealous, a real live baby is going to take all my attention. HAHAHAHAHA

Our local doll meet is today and one of the ladies said she's buying my IS girl and might buy my BB boy, too (!) so I might have money to get one of the MKs .... unless I decide to hold out for a Switch head and find a body to match.

You'd better be cute... and yep going to sell off most of the monsters since they are just sitting around gathering dust, I think I'll even cut down the Operettas, much as I love her my favourite is still the Roller-Maze doll just because her hair style is fairly simple. Dollshe Van may have chosen his wig, and eye colour but I'm not 100% sure yet.

Also d*mn... Since Uni is dragging it's feet wrt letting me know results, job applications currently a bit difficult - I'm holding off applying for the stuff I really want to do until I can update my CV... Sooo attempting to help around the house, this time by cutting down on kitchen ingredients we've got doubled up due to me coming back. Cue half hearted effort from Smother for about 20 minutes which culminates in her shouting that I never help do anything... Again... (Oh and most of the herbs in the overfull herb cupboard are no longer green and no longer smell anything like the herb on the label, mostly they smell weirdly like pee... But we can't throw them out becuase the jar is still full see? ¬.¬) So far this kind of thing has happened when I've been upstairs clearing out my suitcase, unpacking books and clearing out my now literal box room and she discovers this; not realising that by keeping everything she, my father and I has ever owned clothes-wise these past 20 years has not made it an easy task (that and boxes in front of the cabinet in question needed to be cleared first...) Gods it's like she's reverted to childhood... Every time I'm trying to do something else when she wants to do things I'm lazy, but every time it's the reverse? I never help... Argh!!!

Still there's a catch-up with uni friends next week so it's not all bad... And it'll be museums and stuff so hopefully the only costs will be food and train ticket (Which should work out as about £20 altogether if I'm careful)
