My mom has officially been kicked out. And in the process she took my modem three days after i paid the internet bill and my router power cord. she is mad at me for being upset since i spent $40 i really needed on something i can't use now. And then she lashed out on my in laws on Facebook. I'm beyond done with her.
And on another note, i now have to move out by the 27th and all of the apartments in my area are full. so now I'm mad AND stressed.

Aww, I'm so sorry Kae. I know how hard family problems can be!! And...far be it from me to disparage anyone else's parents/grandparents/in-laws/whatever, but...your mother sounds like she's into nosing into your finances. As long as you can support your own family and dependents does it really matter, that $40? Ack. I'm trying to say I understand without stepping on a huge minefield. Family problems are a field of 'em. So just know I'm sorry you're having problems!

My current suck is a minor one, but it's annoying the hell outta me. If I hear the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme song one more time I just might scream. A commercial is rotating twice every fifteen minutes with...Vanilla Ice of all people....rapping "GO NINJAS GO NINJAS GO!" and it's so freaking jarring. I don't mind the theme song, but that same clip over and over! Arghhh. Plus Michael Bay helming the new movie...the female character is going to be waxing turtle shells in a skimpy bikini in the most hilariously inappropriate oversexualized manner you can think of, I can see it now! ...And the concept art is TERRIFYING. They really stressed the mutant part of the equation, didn't they? I'm hoping the....WTF!noses don't stay.

i dunno, i kinda like the new concept art. it's like, less goofy/ more detailed versions of the original suits. the muzzles are narrower, sure, but the tech in them is probably better where they won't have to have as large of puppetry parts. (or cgi negates that entirely).

Siead, what concept art are you looking at? I had found some leaked product photos where they look HIDEOUS, not just narrower faces, which wouldn't bother me at all. Like...they had almost human noses, which just looks unbelievably creepy.

As for the rap, like I said, I don't mind it (I'd even venture to say I would stick it on a playlist), it's just the commercial it's in is so jarring and completely disrupts you even if you're not watching TV. It doesn't matter if it was a bunch of housewives screaming "GO USE TIDE GO USE TIDE GO!!", I swear , it's that annoying TV commercial habit where the volume seems to magically go up about 6 notches without your consent for the commercial and then back to your normal volume for whatever show is on. It drives me nuts!

THE NOSES. It's like they decided to make some look freaking awesome and royally screw the other ones. I dunno, do you approve of the noses Siead? Maybe they're just not my speed?

What type of turtles are the Turtles? It must origin stories, they were pets from a pet store that fell into the sewers by accident.

Siead and Gift_in_Edge Errr...yeah, those noses are still reading a little too human to me. I've seen plenty of snapping turtles, and I'm not seeing it. As for the TMNT...the movie is supposedly kicking around the idea of them being aliens (I have NO FREAKING IDEA, but it's a persistent, still as-of-yet-to-be-proved-or-disproved rumour that leaked), and with Michael Bay attached to the movie you can bet your buttons it's going to deviate as much as is humanly possible from the storylines people know and love and stretching it to the limit of being able to have "TMNT" as the title. (In fact, they had dropped the "mutant" part for awhile because of the alien thing, not sure if they decided to cut that and downplay it...) I don't get the different look either because...alien or turtle mutant, aren't they all supposed to be the same species? *Sigh* I'm not expecting anything, and I'm not looking for Oscar winning performances here, but I want to be able to enjoy my popcorn flicks and be able to pretend SOME coherent thought is put into the direction of the movie.

Shredder also looks like Megatron.

GIE- If you're asking about the original turtles species from the comic/show...not sure what species of turtle specifically they are, but they look an awful lot like the turtles that live in the pond down the road. Tiny, cute little things. <3

I think they were supposed to be red-eared sliders. Very common pet turtles. My bro has one in fact.
