I came home from work for lunch to find maintenance ripping my bathtub out of the wall. They put a new one in now, but no shower yet and the walls are holey. There's a hole in my closet going down to the basement at the neighboring (unoccupied) duplex. Keeping an eye on the cats is being a struggle.



This is all because a drain rusted off. They totally didn't inform me or ask me before this happened.

On the bright side...new bathtub! But in the meantime, just hang in there. And complain loudly while eating chocolate cake. That will fix everything. As for your cats, have you tried simply locking them in a room for the time being? Or would they simply not put up with that? I know my tends to complain loudly and then not talk to me for a week. When will everything be fixed?


And if I may, I just need to throw in my own sux really fast. Got a less than stellar really hideous grade on my Fashion History exam. Now I have to put a crap load of extra effort into a class I'm simply taking for fun. Between this and a bitchy sister...frustrated.

Well, it's more of the door won't shut. It's an old house and half my doors swing open on their own. Not to mention, even when I rig them shut, it by no means keeps them from bolting into the room whenever someone goes for the door. I've had to catch them trying to get in a few times already. The one got totally in once before I caught her.
I am going to be gone for a few days and I am extremely concerned about my boyfriend keeping a good enough eye on them. He's never owned cats and doesn't understand how quickly they can get into trouble.
Also... still no shower or progress. They blocked my driveway with three trucks this morning, but never came in, apparently.

The tub's a lot smaller than the old one too... My boyfriend fished the shower head out of the trash they left across the driveway so he could attach it back on once they fix the plumbing..

Maybe invest in a big dog crate? I mean, if things get desperate. You could borrow one from a friend and keep them in there, which I'm sure they would hate, but if it's for their safety....

Why must cats be so difficult? Dogs are obedient and sweet, but cats...I love them, but they can be such pains. My has taken to using me as her own personal chair. I was reading a book today and she decided that sitting on my chest and breathing in my face was just the thing she needed.

Small suck. My photohosting site, ImageShack, has decided to go all paid so I have to find a new free place, most likely photobucket. Just a pain to have to switch over and I have to work for the next 2 or 3 days so I won't get a chance to work on it til next week.

All three of mine love it when I sit down to relax after work, they all try to sit directly on my face, because that is, apparently, the most comfortable spot in the house.
