*little happy dance* When I'd ordered my Tyni from Denverdoll the only fullset they had was white skin/no faceup on the sleeping face, so I ordered it, though I'd really more wanted the natural skin. And then I was poking back around there and saw that they had the exact same set turn up in normal skin! So I emailed and asked if I could switch my order because It was the same price and they said yes, so now my Tyni will come in normal skin!

My dad always says "them as don't ask don't get" but that's always been really hard for me. I've been working on that, sometimes it works out.

My fullset B&G Elf Nilo arrived from Denverdoll yesterday.

Totally in love with him. He refuses to be the character I'd gotten him for (the Shadow King; he's too colorful!), but that's okay because he actually fits another of my characters perfectly! He shall be the Dreamwalker, instead.

And did I mention I love the B&G boy bodies? Don't understand the need for the new waist joint since he can't actually POSE with it properly, but other than that I love the double-jointedness ... and the fact that he can stand up by himself without need to take apart and suede his joints.

On my own note. My grandma went in to the hospital the other day, but it looks like she's going to be alright. More tests today, but hopefully those go well.

Also I finally saved up enough money to buy my Bobobie Bei! I've wanted an Isabella ever since they came out, but when I saw the elf ears... <3 i'm just waiting for the money to transfer to paypal, then I can order! Through JSpot of course

Today my family went to the Trash and Treasure sale at my uncle's church, it's huge, and I just kept grabbing stuff. XD I got this beautiful doll bench! It's perfectly sized for MSDs, I don't know if it was designed for dolls or as a plant stand, but my guess would be doll because it actually has a seat (most plant stands have holes in for the pots), and there's enough flex in it that I'd be a little worried setting a heavy plant on it. It's the first piece of furniture I've had that more than one doll can sit on, so it'll be perfect for cute, couple-y pictures of Peaseblossom and Bast. I also picked up some cotton batting and a large cloth napkin to make a cushion out of for it. Total cost for the bench and cushion materials was $2.75. Another $3 got me a watch that came with nine interchangable bands that will make great MSD belts. Is very exciting. There was also as nice little doll wardrobe, my uncle will grab it for me if it's still around on Monday for the dollar bag sale.

And at the beginning of next month is the fleamarket at my church! I've found good stuff there before, two years ago I got this amazing little wooden rocking chair. So here's hoping I'll find some good stuff there, too.


Eta: A seat cushion, two back pillows and two throw pillows later, I never would've guessed a single cloth napkin would go so far. O_O Now I just need to find my USB cord to show off the pictures.
