THE FURNACE WENT OUT AGAIN ON THE FLIPPING COLDEST DAY OF THE YEAR. and on my flipping day off of work too. SO GUESS WHO HAS TO SIT AROUND THE HOUSE WAITING FOR THE REPAIR GUY TO COME. sorry I'm cold and sad and all my joints hurt.

Sadness! I swear my battery is always dead but the camera is five years old and has taken a lot of use/abuse from me, I'm surprised the SD card lasted as long as it did getting popped in and out of the camera and in and out of the computer all the time. XD

@ knittnkitten I hope they get it fixed quick. Terrible time of year for the furnace to go out.

One in Larry's studio went out. Or rather the fan on it did. Which had been malfuctioning for six months, NOW they tell me, but "they didn't want to worry me" so they didn't tell me. It could have been fixed with an easy appointment, on a nice mild day, and been fine, but nooooooooo. So now it has to be done on an emergency basis so the pipes don't freeze.

Men. Can't live with 'em, can't sell 'em for parts.

Knittnkitten: Oh man, I so have similar issues. The cat thought it would be a wonderful idea to chase my grandmother's scarf over the back of a chair, so of course *SMASH* there is a giant hole in our french doors just BLASTING in cold air despite our heater running at 90 degrees. We're probably burning up the heating bill for nothing, literally.

Qrinta: My camera is around the same age, but I made sure to buy a NICE one and it's like EVERY SINGLE TIME I pick it up it's dead. I'm afraid to even price cameras even though I really, really need an SLR.

Seriously though, I swear they're thinking south of the belt 95% of the time even when it comes to something as simple as "Let's fix something when it's NOT an emergency instead of making one, yay!"

To join the chorus the ear that was supposedly fixed is clogged up again, doesn't hurt just irritating. The first ENT I was assigned to never answers their phone, so I get to wait another week to find out if its ear wax or what going on in there. Seriously, the first guy takes a pea sized black lump out of one ear, never tries to figure out what it is, doesn't look in the other ear, or schedule a follow up after putting my appointment off for 2 1/2 hours.

My research shows impacted ear wax can get black, like what the regular doctor saw in my ear, and it needs more than five seconds to fix.
