I think having NOTHING to open and no card or email either would be a more fitting punishment.

I've sent nothing to my father for years. No cards for anything, no gifts, etc. His last straw was when he couldn't remember the name of my brother's second son. It isn't as if there are TONS of grandchildren to keep track of, at that time there were 2, and now there are 4... and he can't even remember Evan's name?! This isn't the only thing he's pulled but it was the final straw.

Enjoy YOUR holiday and don't even waste any time thinking of him.

Good for you. You deserve to have a fun, loving Christmas, and if he can't manage to make time for you, he isn't worth your time and effort. I'm sorry it had to come to this, but you're making the right choice.

Haven't seen my could care less dad since last century and I've never let it affect me. I try my hardest not to let other people affect my having a happy holiday, even if it's just me and the dolls.

For the first time, the post office screwed up and delivered my Switch Ryun head to the WRONG house! I actually watched when the carrier tossed some envelopes into our mailbox yesterday. No package was delivered, but tracking says there was .... Damn those contracted carriers!

It's official...My dad doesn't give a fuck about me...It's been over a month and he was supposed to see me as part of my Christmas present, he was supposed to call us to make plans...He's changed his phone number, my Aunt Linda 's phone for some strange reason isn't accepting calls either...My mom finally had to call my Uncle Steve and he saw my dad...He's doing fine and apparently didn't talk about me or nothin' at Thanksgiving...

I'm feeling heartbroken all over again...

Small suck. The frames to my glasses broke in half. Luckily I usually wear my contacts when I leave the house and glasses at home.

I miss my dolls. Especially Ivan! There's still nowhere to put them, shelf-wise, so they're staying in their boxes where they'll be safe. It's been a really, really long time since I've done a photostory. The Magical Anywhere Couch is now upstairs on a hardwood floor (not going to do stories up there since they fall all the time anyway) and the dolls are now downstairs in my little basement office. New house is great, no suck there, it's just a really different configuration so I'm having to re-work things.

I hope that by next summer I'll be able to start making new stories again.

Hopefully so! I still haven't done much with my crew since I stored them away before the birth of my son last year. I've only recently started blogging again and occasionally taking photos, although I'm not sure how much of that will continue when my daughter is born.
