I can say that type of rag doll is no longer in progress. I have to put my thinking cap back on for several parts of it but I feel good about the fooling around and finding out. Because I wanted to "paint" the fabric myself I've been using blank cotton bandanas from the craft store, a bit thin but economical. I also have flour sack fabric and inkjet printer fabric. As long as it's pure cotton it'll take coloring.

I might make something out of string soon just to give me a visual representation of completion.

I love popping into this thread. You are all so creative and talented. I love seeing the adorable wonderful things you create. <3

edit: also, omg, I bought a 3D printer on sale. The idea of printing doll scale anything is making my brain explode. I have all the files for Master Chief. I was going to make a Spartan cosplay but making a doll spartan just sounds beyond exciting.

It's unlikely I'll make the time until after the kids are back to school but still. ha! What an idea, huh?

I wish I had room for a printer, so many 1/6 heads I want to make that aren't coming together other ways.

What kind of software would I need to design stuff?

DK, you might want to look into Blender. It's a free resource for design with a lot of tutorials available.

I want to make dolls, not an online horror series that combines a meme and a real life natural disaster, lol.

I'll look in to it. It's almost time to update my desktop anyway.

This past Sunday, I cut out the pieces for a whoopie pie plush. I have a lot of plush patterns that are related to food. I've started sewing, but I'm about 1/3 done.

Ten days have passed since I posted this, which means it's been over 2 weeks since I started that plush and I haven't picked it up once. I've been kinda binging Guild Wars 2. :? My brain can only hold one shiny thought at a time...

As you know, I recently bought a bunch of second hand Equestria Girls dolls from Ebay. Well, some of them need a WASH. Today, I started with Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. I scrubbed their bodies, clothes, and hair. Their hair also got conditioner, anti frizz for Fluttershy and curl cream for Pinkie Pie. I went all out. Now they're chilling in a coffee mug while their clothes are laid out on a towel. I'll have to go over some stubborn marks with acetone tomorrow, but I did good today.

I think your Pinkie has her cutie mark from the opposite side from my Target exclusive gothy looking one. Neat.
I am Tam. Tam I am. I like green eggs, but I don't like ham. :D

I tried linking one of my adopted click pets here, but the board wouldn't let me. :/

Having just washed a bunch of regular ponies with Zote soap I can say it did a good job on them. It comes in bar form in the laundry section and if your regular box store doesn't carry it try a Latin-Hispanic store, it's a Mexican soap, and there's no difference between pink and white except for the color.
