Back from the oncologist. The doc was nice. My nurse stayed the whole time with me while i shook and cried. The doc doing the biopsy was worried when i started screaming. The numbing agent only worked for 15 minutes. *sigh* it's over and i am home, still crying. There are days i really despise myself. The older i get, the worse the panic gets. Results will be back in a couple of days.

Did you take the lorazepam? If not...TAKE IT.
It's great stuff for situations just like this.
I hope everything is good and you get the results you want. I hate waiting- I think that is the hardest part of all.

Thanks. She texted me 10x that she is okay. I worry a lot...and that means I tend to panic. *sigh* she says she is okay, but her bike is trashed. I may send her the $ since my back pay will be in the bank tomorrow.

The lorazapam was phhhhhhhhhttttttttt. I still panicked, shook/shuddered the whole time. Hit me with an elephant tranq next time, i think. *sigh* waiting sucks, because I am waiting for the swelling to go down. I still can't talk above a whisper or eat solid food. The nurse said to wait until next Tuesday if it isn't better. At this point, the results don't worry me. Go figure.

my mom had to have her chest scoped last year and some nodes taken out, and it took a while for her swelling to go down too because they went in thru the base of her throat. have you been putting ice on it?

15 on and 15 off for an hour. The swelling now gets worse with the ice, though. :/ I tried to call the office but there was a 2.5 hour wait for an operator. *sigh*
