Internet hugs for all who needthem. Mean people suck.

For those of you who want a laugh, as I was getting ready for bed last night, again, I dropped a full 16 oz can of soda on my foot. I think I broke the middle toe. * sigh * hubby said I have to go to bed wearing steel toe boots.

This is only funny because it is a constant thing with me. Please feel free to chuckle because, to me, it really is funny.

WTH?

I am looking forward to sending some Barbies I would otherwise not use to someone who can love them, why would someone want to stop me from enjoying that?

The Evil Overlord did a bit of the same thing, in this case pulling a passive-aggressive 'budget too tight this month to mail a single Barbie' until I insisted I was paying, then a 'you don't have time to pack one up since store day's tomorrow' until I told her I'd have to use stamps and stick it in the blue-box anyway as my once a month carpool would arrive too late in the day to go to the post office. Basically one little nit after another until she saw I was determined to send one if I could find one in decent shape, and pointed out that it would get one of the extra bodies out of my way...

It's already done and done. Just because I'm saving for a car doesn't mean every cent goes for it, I gots to have my Monsters and I discovered DVD therapy to help me cope with this world. Got to break the hoarding cycle too, why shouldn't the dolls get played with?

:hugs: to everyone needing one - or more.

My mom and I have never been as close and she and my sister were, but we get along just fine even if we don't have a lot in common. We love each other, we just aren't "friends". She would never even think about telling me what I should or shouldn't do. My birth dad, on the other hand was a real ass - a raging (in the literal sense) alcoholic who put my mom in the hospital 3 times. My sister helped get him arrested for outstanding warrants (DUI/suspended license/nefarious dealings with the mob) when I was 12 so that we could move out and my mom could get a divorce while he was in jail. He did a lot of things while I was a little kid that caused me to not just not like him, but not love him.

On the brighter side, my wonderful step-dad, Mike, was everything a teenage girl could hope for in a dad. I miss him.

Hard day at work today. Customers complaining about the simplest of things (facts that other people don't even complain about) are the worst. They even go as far as talking to a manager about it resulting with us working with one person less even during a really busy period -_-

Hahahaha oh god....this is one of those ridiculous "of course this would happen" sitcom-y moments.

I finally got my car to the mechanic on Friday and got it back Saturday. He redid the entire front-end allignment and it feels so much better to drive.

But.

I went to get a sandwich for lunch, and on my way home (about 10-ish, 15 minutes because of the amount of lights between my street and the mall where I was) my check engine light came on. And then every time I had to stop at a stop light or sign (it was intermittently, but by the time I got two streets away it was every time) and have to put my car into either first or second gear, it won't go. I mean, it goes into gear, but it won't move from a full stop. It's like I'm outside my car trying to push it down the road.

Ugh. My dad is awesome and is only like 20 minutes away so after he finishes what he's doing he'll come over and will take a look at it, but ugh.

My hubby and I went to Cedar Point last Thursday. We're both roller coaster fans and, after hitting the 'big ones' of the park, (including Millenium Force, which is my all time fav), we went on the newest one, The Gate Keeper.

After what was quite possibly the roughest, most jarring coaster ride of my life, a splitting headache and bouts of nausea, I eventually went to the ER and found out I have a mild concussion.

*sigh*
