Working on my last 2 warrior women (last 2 at least for now!) and keep changing my mind on stuff. I got a made to move Barbie that I had ordered and took a long time to get here for one of the women, but now I'm not sure she's the one I want. I found a Fashionista Barbie with hair and face I like much better, but she has a stiff body. Her skin is a generic ethnic shade and I'll have to order yet another MTM Barbie to do a swap. I do have the fabric I needed finally for one of the women, so I should get my rear in gear and start sewing.

I have miniature statues of Kwan Yin, Buddha and Ganesha. Obviously, Richi needs a Meditation room. I have made a tiny tufted zabuton and started on a matching tufted yoga mat.

Well, now I have yet another shade that doesn't match the head I like! So, I've ordered yet another MtM that is currently out of stock, but due to ship in 2 weeks. Looks like I'll be working on a different project for a while.

Frustrating when that happens, huh. Worst case I ever had of it took literal DECADES to find a match. I have an AA Ms Flair doll (the generic barbieclone that was most common when I was a kid). The bodies on these things were total junk. Thin plastic, the limbs pop off, the whole deal... but she has the cutest face and bubblecut and I loved the skin tone. Putting her on a Barbie body never happened because all the Barbie AA's are a warmer chocolaty-aa or various tones thereof, while Cherise has a cooler tone to her. Then, when buying cheap Chinese fashion dolls for their hair for reroots I got very lucky, and she now has fashionista level joints on a body that matches. And it only took about 30-ish-something years. XD

I hope you find a match much sooner than that.

I ordered fabric online this week! Some Lilac fabric for Vivi and Yellow for Sunny. I realized when updating my list that I have two dolls named Sunny now... Oh well.

The new MTM Barbie arrived today and she's a good match so I did a head swap this afternoon. Her outfit was made to fit the static body, but still works on the new body. (The character wears borrowed clothes so they don't fit perfectly anyway.) I have a few details to finish up before I can post pics.
