Oy...I flunked my first 4 driving tests, all for different reasons. I was just so nervous.

I just got turned down for that teaching job I really wanted. I think I'm going to stop trying to get a teaching position and work for temps for the year. I just can't go another year without a paycheck. I may have to stop teaching all together. I don't know.

That does stink.
My mother had a very hard time becoming a teacher when she moved to the area we are in now. She finally ended up with a job as a sub, but then they didn't want to hire her full time because she was their best sub. (there's a downside for being good at handling teenagers.)

She did the same you did and took temp jobs after awhile. Later, though, she ended up with a decent job at a private school when she wasn't looking. She kept that until retirement.

I hope you find what you want soon, and maybe, like my mom, you'll find it when you're not looking!

The local shipping companies are sucking the joy out of my hobby pleasure. Again, I have a doll on a truck, someplace in town. Sigh. I've opened up a complaint at FedEx.

My boyfriend and I have spent the last 3 days cleaning our apartment for his visiting family, and we still aren't done. I have to clean the floors without a mop. I cant sleep because I am restless and I feel like I should be cleaning and I have to go to work in a few hours x__x

Hey all. It’s been a while since I’ve been around but so far 2013 has been fairly crazy and I haven’t had much time for dolls. The suck kind of topped off at the beginning of June when my otherwise healthy grandma fell and broke her hip. She should have been fine but the surgeon messed up(something he basically admitted to) and she died from bone marrow entering her heart during the operation. The family fall out from that has been unexpected and intense and generally exhausting. I also just started grad school which is really awesome but time consuming. I’m hoping to actually spend some time with my dolls, and hopefully to get caught up and start posting here again. I’m really sorry for all the crap that everyone else is dealing with and if you need it I am sending positive thoughts your way.
