...Really want to do a Rocky Horror themed photostory with the resin guys! But it's difficult enough finding the outfits in human sizes! (That and ALL of my male dolls want to be Frank... And none of them will admit to being more like Brad) Why Brain Why? I was trying to do work! Hmm... Maybe just Frank...

They can Swede it, over the summer we could have a Sweded Film Fest where dolls present their favorite films. Sweded roughly means a cheap spoof remake so it can be more about how the dolls remember the film, or think they know how the film goes, than anything else. I can see just reading the back of the box and going by screen captures or what you saw in a music video versions too.

I wonder if mom argues with me just for the sake of trying to look smarter than me. I brought up that I couldn't find much italian folk dress, she argues that folk dress absolutely never ever existed in italy. she never saw any pictures of it in her childhood, and that food was the only defining part of italian culture. I pointed out that they had to be wearing something at the time and it prolly would be different place to place. nope. no folk dress there.

the worst part is... I'm the one that took the historical textile classes! you'd think she'd trust that much about me!

Why did I never see this thread before? I have so many random things to tell you guys... :P

Does anyone else watch Dance Moms? I can't stop. It's awful, but the little girls are so cute, and I love watching them dance! The moms, Abby, and what's-her-face-Candy-Apples are all deeply disturbed people, with the exception of maybe Holly. Maybe.

I haven't seen it, but just from the previews I'd have to agree about the moms being disturbed. It's not about their kids at all. It's all about THEM. They just exploit those girls for their own 15 minutes. I feel sorry for the girls, having to put up with mothers like that. I can only imagine they'll probably grow up to be the next Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan. It's sad.

I feel sorry for the girls too, I was one exploitive teacher away from my family going down that path and to this day my smother resents that I stopped performing. I feel sorry if they have any siblings who don't dance and might get ignored, I know how that feels too. And there's a million other little girls who can do the same things. The kids I worked with in Hollywood had attentive, in a good way, but laid back parents. Every time I've caught one of her routines it always looks like the same thing over and over.

On the other hand if anyone is in to those Mix and Mingle or Bits and Baubles metal and glass beads and is open to trade PM me. I have lots of extras in some colors. I've got some pink ribbon ones I might part with too.

My sister loves that show...it kind of terrifies me. Partly because I live in that area. We drive past it on occasion, my mom loves pointing it out. I might run into some of these people in real life. Ain't that frightening.

I can't watch "reality" TV. I don't even like watching most competition shows anymore. Give me cop shows or cartoons any day.
