I hereby crown Richila the Queen of Crochet. <3

Those instruments look rad, Siead. A video would be really fun.

My only REAL project update is that I've unpacked more boxes and now have a sewing table. There's at least a PLACE to craft. Ha!

Eek!

Today, I'm finally going for it. I just pulled the remaining 8 Disney Prince dolls from their display cases and will cut off their heads to mod them to fit on the Fashionista Ken bodies instead of the frumpy Disney Store bodies.

I've been procrastinating, feeling a bit timid about doing all of them, but Hans, Kristoff, Eugene and Phillip all came out so great, that I am just going to bite the bullet and say the others will work out as well, too. ^^

Wish me luck!

Here goes....!

Loki, my Hujoo Jake, has always been a werewolf, but on a trip to Michaels I found some cheap craft fur and I'm going to try to make him actually look like one! Or at least make him a wig and tail that actually match. I haven't made doll stuff in ages and I've never made a wig, so I'm a little nervous but I even one piece should be more than enough to make it over if it doesn't go well, and I got two pieces. I might glue some fur to the backs of his ears (resin "kitty" ears I got through Junkyspot) to help them blend with the wig, too.

If all goes well, I might make him a little kigurumi style outfit out of fur too, though I might look for some lighter, shorter fur for his belly for that.

I am very very happy to say that after a whole month I am no longer working on making a Kelly Diaper:

I have been playing with Zentangles this week. They make great doll sized custom artwork. I may build Richi an art gallery. :D

I'm putting lace on the dress I got for Patience so it looks more like a dress and less like a nightgown.

Auditioning PTEs in Custom Creations for Backstreet Boys. Kind of looking forward to the challenge of reworking some of them like I did for Colbert and Stewart.

Sculpting on Penny Paperclay should be finished in the next couple of days.
