Just done Simon R Green's The Bride Wore Black Leather. Have to finish Naked City short story collection(hoping to find new authors to try) before I dare to open the cover of the Hunger Games series. Somehow a movie I haven't seen is just making me want to read it.

Currently I'm reading Wanderlust by Rebecca Solnit. I had started in on Atlas Shrugged and was enjoying it but it's too big to carry around with me and I don't have the time to read it at home, so it went back to the library.

I have just finished re-reading all of the Wizard of Oz Books.
Currently reading:
A Princess of Mars - Burroughs
The Sea Fairies - Baum
The Emperor's Edge series by Lindsay Buroker
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - Doyle (Rereading all the books has convinced me the Robert Downey Jr. is the most authentic Holmes yet.)
I am also gathering all the free Steampunk novels I can find on Kindle. I like to read lots of different authors in the same genre.
I love the kindle app for my phone. I get a lot more reading done.

Right now I am in the middle of re-reading the entire contents of 3 bookshelves, in order to determine what I'm keeping and what I will probably never want to read again.

Currently in the middle of Winter Prey by John Sandford. (5th book in the Prey series... there's like 23 of them so far and he's still writing them... I own the first 16, and am still undecided as to whether I want to keep them or get rid of them...)
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

Sigh . . . except for a few books pending reading, we have already boxed up all of our books and I hesitate to buy any more until after we find and move into our new home. My husband took some extra money and bought himself a Nook (when I bought my soon to arrive To You Sara) so he gets to continue to read. That's a bummer because we actually enjoy sitting in the living room together just quietly reading. Maybe I can justify getting a tablet of my own when our tax refund arrives. . . . ;)

I just finished How to Knit a Wild Bikini. It was suggested in The Knitter's Life List that I am also currently reading.
The thing is, the more I learn about feminism and body politics et al. the less I am able to enjoy this kind of romantic fiction. I don't think I can stand one more "damaged woman saved by the love of a good man" book. The numerous, messed up assumptions apparent in this book were distracting, but not so horrible that I could put it down unfinished. I am, for better or worse, a chronic book finisher.
