I was a tweener when they were a hit... Oh, I liked Davey but I LIKED the tall one named Peter.
Davey had a sweet voice and was obviously a very nice person from what his band mates have to say about it.

Yeah, we heard about this today.

It is a tradition during our semi-frequent tabletop RPGs to have music in the background, usually a playlist consisting of mood-setting music or songs appropriate to the setting or era in which the game takes place. This evening the first song we played was "Last Train to Clarksville", in honor of Davy.
"Dolls love to be played with. They are lonesome if you leave them always in a box. How would you like to be left day after day alone, with no one to love you?"
