Or a Dollfie Dream version for that matter. The DD3 body is currently unavailable separately in the US, but you could easily use a DD2 for $231. That leaves $528 to do everything else. The anime heads are so generic looking the most difficult part would be finding the right wig and eye color, then just stalk YJA to buy the outfit/props you want.

Actually, considering most of the Dollfie Dreams I've seen on Ebay and other places have been about twelve hundred and up, that's kind of an amazing price. I've seen just the HEADS going for at least that price. ^^;

The amazing thing about that price is Volks seems to be holding the line on their prices, what with the exchange rate taking a dive over the past few months (about 74-76yen to the dollar, depending on who's doing your exchanging). They could easily bump that price up $100 to $200 and claim it was a result of the increased exchange rate.

I've seen just the HEADS going for at least that price. ^^;

The DD3 is more comparable to the DD2. The biggest differences would be a re-engineering of the elbow joints and the internal chest parts, all which now look suspiciously like those of the Obitsu 50cm. There's also supposed to be some work done on the neck part. Volks also said all parts would be available for purchase. While nothing DD3 (bare bodies or parts) is currently available in North America, parts are available on the Volks Japan site. Although it looks like you have to buy the exterior vinyl and the interior skeleton parts together as a set.

Even with the down payment, there's no way I can cough up money for alter. I keep going in between "Nah, she's too expensive, I should get DD Airy after I save up enough" and "OMG DO WANT, BETTER GO FIND WAYS TO MAKE MONEY"
Now...where are my old junks again? Maybe I can sell the DD3 body and get a DD2 for cheaper...*plots*

Actually since she is not limited I wouldn't bet on that, unless they discontinue her for some reason.
