Heh, oddly enough, I was just discussing the situation about lazy and indifferent FedEx drivers yesterday. I have cousin by marriage who works at "the Hub" in mid-level management and he personally has been putting in 80 hours plus the last few weeks. He said that stories like this getting back to corporate piss them off royally because they bust ass to process and ship in a timely manner, only to have some jackass in the field 100s or 1000s of miles away screw it all up for them. Needless to say, this particular driver is now an ex-employee, assuming he even had the cojones to bother coming back to work.
I'm glad it worked out for you though and I'm sorry it caused you so much stress.
