I'm so sorry I didn't see this until just now!
(((hugs))) Glad he's doing better.
My almost 15 year old Min Pin has an enlarged mitral valve that is slowly getting bigger and pressing on her trachea. She's also suffering with congestive heart failure. At some point you have to start weighing quality over quantity and it's never an easy choice. At this point with our girl we keep her on a low salt diet but basically spoil her rotten. I'd rather she have a happy time than a longer time.
