What a coincidence, I also have a cat who is in need of a bath. (She has constant skin irritation because she keeps climbing on the roof, which has fiber glass shingles, which is causing skin irritation, which makes her lick and chew herself, which causes MORE skin irritation, and it's just a constant cycle.)

I had one traditional sewing project in mind... then I came up with another, much bigger one that I'm at least 70% of the way towards starting. Without giving too much away: this is what I'm doing instead of pining after that which is financially inaccessible.

Update on the current status of the new Reini:





I technically still need to change her eye color, but she's basically done! I still might trim her hair a little, but for now I'm going to leave it.

Went ahead and cut her hair. It needs a little more finessing than I can give it with the scissors. I need to find the eyebrow razors. But I'm glad I did it.

Today I did a ton of photo taking, and blogging about my new and older Shadow High dolls. Now they're all good and documented in several places. I was gonna finish one of the 3 books I have stuck at 70% complete, but nah, played with dolls instead.

Have a good time! I love a good convention. It's nice to be surrounded by like minded individuals.

Today, I used my hairdryer to soften the dolls and pried off 3 doll heads and 2 doll eyes with my bare hands. Rainbow High dolls are much harder to customize than I expected. Fortunately, I had a lot of success today. Watching some doll customizing videos for inspo and tips while I relax. I'll do more tomorrow.
