Summer Southern Lady

Well, ok, it's debateably if Sherris is really a Lady, but she's definitely southern and in her newest summer outfit since it's gotten warmer here in AZ. The jumperskirt was made from a 1940s skirt pattern purchased from an ebay seller. It was sized for CEDs and the skirt part needed no alterations for Sherris' body, but the blouse definitely needed work to fit her boobs :D Originally I was using that frightening hawaiian print fabric just to do a mockup, but it turned out so nice that I finished it up for Sherris :)

Really nice, but then I'm fond of Hawaiian prints. Sherris looks uncharacteristically subdued. By the way - is that a hat/coat stand behind them?

Sherris is dressed in one of her more "innocent" outfits - which means she's behaving herself accordingly :lol: And why yes, that is a hat/coat stand in the background! I finally found one yesterday!

Sherris looks great in her outfit, and you know, that print is perfect for the 40's style she's wearing. They were extremely popular and an outfit like that would have been very fashionable. And I like Hawaiian prints too! Coatrack envy here.

She looks ready to go do some light weeding in the garden or possibly sit in the shade and read with a nice cool glass of lemonade.

Weeding? Sherris? She'd probably end up pulling out the flowers and leaving the weeds she's so inept at that sort of thing :lol: Sherris believes in hiring yardmen for that sort of thing. Lemonade in the shade, however, is much more the proper thing :)
