Christmas, 1963, and this was under the tree. I played with it til it fell apart and died. It was thrown away, much against my will, but now I can have it again! This one is in fairly tough shape, but so was mine. All the pieces are there, and I plan to do some serious restoration. Sorry about the blurry pictures.
It will probably take a little while for me to fix it up, but I am so happy I could cry!!
It's all about Hazel!

I've never heard of this so I looked it up, Holy crap on a cracker that's awesome!! I hope the clothes came with it too. That set looks like the greatest fun you could have.
I am SO happy for you. Congratulations!! I kind of understand the feeling, I've had similar experiences, slightly different though. I used to collect little jointed plastic Pamela Love dolls from the Simba company. They always came with this little catalogue that contained a house for them, a bed, a van, and of course lots of different fashions.. but the only dolls I ever found in store were the ballerinas, the Mallorca series and the Disneyland series. Never any other fashions or accessories. As a kid and even as a teenager - I never stopped loving those dolls - I used to drool over the pretty pictures in that little catalogue, "knowing" I'd never own 90% of the stuff in there.
But then, 20 years later there was eBay. I now own the things I wanted as a kid and it feels amazing. I own the bed, the van and other stuff that was probably never brought to stores in the Netherlands. I completely understand childhood memory happiness!!!

I do occasionally search eBay to see if anyone's selling the camping/caravanning Sindy and Barbie stuff I had from the 70s/early 80s. The only reason I haven't got any yet is a decided lack of space!
