Because Anna Marie and Miyuki (with Izzy) wrote to Alice to ask her questions for a school project. The letter is probably the one that Alice just received.

K2 often includes other people's dolls in MV - the entire "demon in the woods" story took place at Cirque's house as well.

No, he is in Chicago, she is in California. K2 gives extremely good instructions as to what he would like to do and works it out with the guest stars' owner who then does the photographing and sends him the photos. It's a remote collaboration.

I only know because my Sherris has "appeared" in MV as well so I've been through the process
