Hmmmmm.....could the mystery program have anything to do with odd star wars related dreams?

Methinks that the originator of that program was Chroma! Acting through Hyacinth, she gave the program to Anna Marie to "help her with her schoolwork" but actually for some other purpose. That is why "Hyacinth"/Chroma told her not to tell anyone.

It ALSO explains Hyacinth's nighttime excursions to the college library!

Not a chance. When the power goes out for long enough, cell towers don't get power either. If you are in the middle of nowhere in the middle of month-long power outage due to an ice-storm and your house catches fire, it is really really really nice to be able to call the fire department.

No, I also have a landline. A corded telephone, with corded headset, and two lines connected. I just do not WANT a broadcasting set attached to my EAR... close to my *brain*... I see these people walking around with their BlueTooth sets and I think "Cancer seeds!"

You watch. In a few years there will be an explosion of brain cancers. I think I'll sit THIS tech advance out, thank you.
