If my guess is correct, the new voice is possibly Sapphire, directing Hyacinth in her dream. I surmise that Hyacinth is dreaming, before or after somehow being sacrificed BY Sapphire, in order to help Mittens. How Hyacinth will emerge (or IF) is a matter for conjecture.

I don't think she's going to be placed into a clone. BTDT. If she IS an undead vampire, then she might be transformed in some other way OR lose her vampirism and become mortal.

noooo, I think we are in the flashback zone and this is really what happened to poor Hyacinth. That is utterly not the sort of thing that Sapphire would do. That voice is evil - even if it does have fluffy rounded word balloons.
