I'm glad I saved and reread the Instagram article because the OP said during reassembly the Rustoleum paint could still scratch off. And while putting my bus away after claiming some parts for the nice one I saw some remnants of what had to be previous experiments. I also had time to think about the Hujoo Berry I repainted (made of ABS) and how she's held up.

Next time we go out I'll go by a hardware or auto store and get a can of vinyl paint to try, I can test the shower door which is made of the same stuff as the frame and a piece of softer furniture to see what happens.

But I'm also thinking at how hard it is to get the stickers off there could be a clue there. Painting over a glue or adhesive might also be an answer.

*edit- My brain is wondering about some sort of dye, I know most aren't for plastics, or anything that will change the color of the plastic. I might even try permanent markers on it somewhere.
