Horse repair help

Postby Greyhaunt » Tue Apr 13, 2010 11:25 pm

OK, so when thrifting in Vegas (yes, I go thrifting in Vegas rather than gambling) I found a Breyer horse that is an older model. Problem? one ear is totally gone and the other broke in half. Has anyone ever repaired one? Suggestions? I just couldn't leave the poor earless thing there :(

For any thing broken I would use Apoxie Sculpt to repair or fix. After that you can either repaint the whole horse or just the ears.

In my youth (waaaaaaay back when) I had a dozen or more Breyer horses. I managed to save 3 of them from being scavenged by my stepsisters after I moved out . . . I wonder if they would work with my soon-to-be-home 27cm mini-Riz . . . mmmmmmm

Oh and I've come across online sites where they discuss/detail modding Breyer horses, I just haven't look in a long time (like a couple years). I'm sure if you did a search, you'll run across a few, though.
